SEPTEMBER 9TH IS 18.68 INCHES IN 1989. NORMAL PRECIPITATION FOR THE
ENTIRE YEAR IS 16.08 INCHES, SO ANCHORAGE IS ALMOST TO THE YEARLY
PRECIPITATION NORMAL AMOUNT WITH ALMOST ONE THIRD OF THE YEAR LEFT TO
