NORTHWEST MAINE. STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS WILL ACCOMPANY THE COLD
AIR. TEMPERATURES WILL FALL BELOW ZERO TONIGHT... WITH WIND CHILL
VALUES OF 20 TO 25 DEGREES BELOW ZERO COMMON BY THURSDAY MORNING.

* LOCATIONS...NORTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE AND NORTHWEST MAINE

* TIMING...MUCH COLDER AIR WILL MOVE IN THIS AFTERNOON AND BE
ACCOMPANIED BY STRONGER WINDS. WIND CHILLS WILL FALL WELL BELOW
ZERO AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT AND INTO THURSDAY MORNING.

* WINDS...WEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...FALLING TO NEAR OR BELOW ZERO BY EARLY THURSDAY
MORNING.

* WIND CHILL READINGS...20 TO 25 DEGREES BELOW ZERO.

* IMPACTS...VERY LOW WIND CHILLS CAN LEAD TO FROST BITE WITHIN A
FEW MINUTES. TAKE PRECAUTIONS TO BUNDLE UP WHEN GOING OUTSIDE
AND BE PREPARED FOR THE EXTREME CONDITIONS.
