TROPICAL STORM SHOWS CONTINUE WEAKING IN A GOOD POSITION GIVEN BY BUOY

THE TROPICAL THAT FAILED IN MOVING IN THE GULF STREAM WARM WATER TOOK
OFF TO THE OPEN SEA WHERE WATER TEMPERATURES FELL BELOW 80 DEGREES -
THE LACK OF SURFACE SUPPORT HAS CAUSED A STORNG NORTHERLY DRIVE OF
DRYER AIR FROM THE NORTHEASTERN UNITED STATES - IN BUOY REPORT
SOUTHERLY AND NORTHERLY WINDS ARE COMMON BUT A CUTTING OFF OF EASTERLY
AND RAPID RISE OF PRESSURE HAVE CHANGED IN THE MODEL EFFECT OF
EUROPEAN AND MORE OF A TURN TOWARD BERMUDA AND SHOWING A FORK DIVIDE
IN THE STORM CENTER 34.50 N 72.60 W - PRESSURE 28.70 AND WINDS OVER
50 KNOTS THE MAIN CONCERN IS SEAS OVER PUSHING TO NEAR 30 FEET THE
FOLLOWING SHOWING NORTHERLY FLOW ON WESTERN SIDE AND SOUTHERLY WITH
LITTLE OR NO FEED FROM SOUTH OF 30 DEGREES NORTH -
