Issues:

When indigent prisoners file multiple actions in forma pauperis, does the Prison Litigation Reform Act cap their filing fees at 20% of their preceding month's income regardless of the number of filing fees owed, or must prisoners pay for each case for which a filing fee is owed?

Issues:

Should the Georgia courts have recognized race discrimination under Batson v. Kentucky, which held that race cannot be used as a basis for striking jurors, where the prosecution used peremptory challenges to strike each potential black juror, resulting in an all-white jury in the petitioner's death penalty case?

Issues:

Under 18 U.S.C. § 2252(b)(2), defendants with prior state convictions relating to "aggravated sexual abuse, sexual abuse, or abusive sexual conduct involving a minor or ward" receive a ten-year mandatory minimum sentence; however, does the phrase "involv[e] a minor or ward" apply to each type of conviction above, or does it only apply to the last category, abusive sexual conduct?

Issues:

To what extent may a single-judge district court render a decision on the merits of a claim that is otherwise covered by the Three-Judge Court Act before the case is actually referred to a three-judge panel?

Issues:

Can a plaintiff who has suffered no concrete harm sue in federal court for a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act without violating Article III of the US Constitution?

Issues:

In order for a state-law criminal offense to qualify as an aggravated felony because that offense is "described in" a federal criminal statute, must the state offense contain all of the elements of the corresponding federal offense—including the federal jurisdictional requirements?
